NTSE Application Form 2018 NCERT, NTSE 2018 Admission Apply Online : The state level NTSE Application form 2018 has been available online on the official website as per the official notification released on 31st July 2017. The application form will be available separately for each state and Union territory. Students can obtain the NTSE 2018 application form either via the online mode or the offline mode. The application form has to be submitted only to the state NTSE exam conducting authority. The candidates need not to send the NCERT NTSE Exam application form to the official website of NCERT.

NTSE or National Talent Search Examination is one of the best exams for the students of 10th class. The exam is conducted by the NCERT for awarding scholarships to the talented candidates who will qualify the exam. The exam is used to be conducted in two levels- State Level and National Level. The students will have to qualify the exam at both the levels. The candidates who will qualify the Stage-I will appear for the Stage-2.

NTSE Application Form 2018

The candidates who will qualify the Stage-2 will be awarded with the scholarship criterion of the organisation. The scholarship criterion has been listed as per the norms

  • Scholarship of Rs 1250 for Class XI to XII.
  • Scholarship of Rs 2000 for the undergraduate and post graduates.
  • Scholarship for the PHD will be as per the UGC norms.

Qualifying marks: – All the candidates who will be appearing for the Stage will have to attain the required amount of marks for being qualified. The required marks will be: –

  • General: -40%
  • ST:- 32%
  • SC:- 32%
  • PH (Physically Handicapped):- 32%

 How to apply for the NCERT NTSE Examination 2018

Extract the application form: –Initially the candidates will have to extract the application form from the official website. They have to download it or they can approach the liaison officer of their state.

Fill up the application form: – After having the application forms, the students will have to fill it as per the instructions provided. Students do check the form twice, none of the mistakes should be there. The application form should be neat and clean filled.

Payment of applicant: – The students will have to pay the required amount of application fee and for that they will have to ask the procedure from their teachers, how to pay the fee.

Application form submission: –The application form needs to be submitted offline at the asked address. The application form must be attached with every required document as per the instruction. Application forms with the wrong details will be rejected.

Selection Criterion: – The selection of the candidates will be purely based on score of the written examination. The written examination will be conducted in the two stages- State level and national level. The candidates who will qualify the Stage- I will be called for the Stage-2.
